HOLIDAY DIY: HEMINGWAY DAQUIRI

Growing up I would always get Daiquiri Ice at the local Baskin Robins. When I became 21, I wondered what the flavor inspiration was because it tasted nothing like frozen daiquiris. When I lived in Savannah, GA, I had a Hemingway Daiquiri and it made me realize the flavor inspiration for Daiquiri Ice. This is my favorite cocktail and it has such a hint of eccentricity. It reminds me of when I lived in Savannah, GA. Winter was a special time because citrus would grow which was such a contrast from the snowy midwest winters I was used to. It reminds me of the people and stories I would hear like how there is a famous Hemingway lookalike contest in Key West, FL. I hope this cocktail brings joy and wonder to your winter!
